Feels like Mad Men was my first thought but Soho Grand Hotel is one just one of those luxurious locations in NY that puts you in a grandiose state of mind. That is why I love walking into the lobby up to the restaurant. The most spontaneous moments are most often the most memorable (NO. That’s not always a good thing!)
This was merely an impromptu photo taken by my friend but wearing my red suede Aelyt Sandals always makes you feel more glamorous and maybe playful. These are specials shoes made to my request. Not to be taken for granted. I adore vintage furniture lined with gold hardware and even have a growing vision to re upholster a Victorian style 1950s couch I was enticed to take a photo here. From architecture to luxurious furniture and historical remnants of an era which most of us will only experience from reading or watching a movie. Soho Grand has a nostalgic romantic allure.
Let’s not be mistaken! The shoes do matter! Even if they are often a conversation piece. There are shoes for each state of mind! Be a “little” bold!
