This past Monday I had a chance to visit the ALDO40 EXPO in Montreal. Here are some images I captured from the gallery at the pop up exhibit representing the story of ALDO’s 40 years; displaying cultural inspiration and creativity that have and continue to influence the innovation of the brand. I enjoyed the presentation through the exhibits that provided insight not only into the finished product but the entire process from creative inspiration and design to production and marketing as trends come and go.

ABOVE: Colour and Lace  – Experimenting with textures less conventional than suede or patent leather with a mix of color is refreshing and playful. I love how the contrasting color schemes can be either bright and fun or more romantic and feminine such as with nude or deep blue.
